People commonly refer to the “mid – cut end mill” as the end mill that we can use under medium cutting parameters. We can generally use this kind of end mill to process carbon fiber.

• Advantages: The design of the end mill usually takes into account the cutting efficiency and processing quality. When processing carbon fiber, you can adjust the cutting parameters according to the material characteristics and processing requirements to achieve better processing results.

• Note: Also pay attention to the wear of the tool. Because carbon fiber has special properties, the chip – removal performance of the tool is also very critical. You need to ensure that you can discharge the chips in time to prevent the accumulation of chips from damaging the machined surface.

When it comes to slotting directly on the carbon fiber plate, the ordinary end mill can’t cut at all. At this point, the Center Cut End Mill must be used:
